Women chauffeur on request.
One of LAAC Car Service's most-requested features for female travelers, families, and corporate accounts. Here's how it works, what's possible, and what's honest.
Why this program exists.
- Red-eye and late-night arrivals into an unfamiliar city.
- Solo female business travel where the rider prefers a woman behind the wheel.
- Family bookings — moms moving kids to school, sports, or the airport.
- Corporate accounts booking on behalf of female executives.
- Industries (entertainment, hospitality, finance) where female principals request it as standing preference.
- Cultural or religious preferences that call for a woman driver.
How to request one.
Note it at booking
Tell the concierge or flag the box at reservation. It becomes part of the trip notes so dispatch sees it before assigning a chauffeur.
Lead time helps
More notice means a higher chance of matching. Same-day is usually possible in major markets; specific dates and times (Saturday 8 PM, holiday week) are harder.
We tell you up front if we can't
If no vetted woman chauffeur is on shift in your market for that window, dispatch tells you before the trip — not when the car pulls up. You decide whether to keep the booking with the assigned chauffeur or reschedule.
Standing preference on your profile
Corporate accounts and frequent riders can set a women-chauffeur preference once and have it carry forward to every future trip. Dispatch honors it whenever availability allows.
What we can and can't promise.
- Not every city has a woman chauffeur on shift every hour. We will not pretend otherwise.
- Same chauffeur every trip is a separate request and also subject to availability — it can't be guaranteed alongside a women-only request in every market.
- When we can't match, we tell you before the trip. That honesty is the program.
Questions to ask before you book.
- Do you have a women-chauffeur-on-request program, or do you just assign whoever's available?
- If no woman chauffeur is on shift in my city for my time slot, do you tell me before the trip or when the car arrives?
- Can I set it as a standing preference on my profile?
- How do you vet women chauffeurs differently? (Answer should be: same standard. Not differently.)
Straight answers.
Can I request a woman chauffeur on every LAAC Car Service trip?
You can request one on every trip. Whether one is available depends on the market, the time slot, and the chauffeur roster on shift. LAAC Car Service honors the request whenever availability allows and tells you up front when it can't.
Is the request guaranteed?
Honest answer: no chauffeur service in the world can guarantee a specific chauffeur or chauffeur category for every booking. We can guarantee that we'll try, that we'll tell you before pickup if we can't match, and that the assigned chauffeur will meet the same hand-vetted LAAC Car Service standard.
Do women chauffeurs get vetted differently?
No. Same LAAC Car Service Chauffeur Standard — same background check, same interview, same on-road evaluation, same NDA, same appearance and conduct standard. The program is about preference matching, not a different hiring track.
Which markets have women chauffeurs?
All of LAAC Car Service's major U.S. markets and most international markets. Coverage is deepest in Atlanta, New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, Washington DC, and the Bay Area. Smaller markets vary; ask the concierge desk before booking.
